I help entrepreneurs build businesses that work for them, people, and the planet. I specialize in retail, social impact, circular, micro-enterprises, consumer products, and NGOs. I’ve been a social entrepreneur for over 15 years. I'm an expert in marketing, sales, events, project management, and leading empowered teams.
I know the ins and outs of starting and growing a small enterprise that has a social impact. I founded and launched the first second-hand circular enterprise in Mauritius, The Good Shop. In just two years we opened three retail shops and added new revenue streams in the form of an online shop, repair services, and new product lines of up-cycled furniture and clothing made from donated goods that were unsellable. I navigated the startup through the COVID crisis and brought it back more profitable out of each lockdown than before, all without laying off any of our team.
While at African Leadership University and African Leadership Network, I proved my ability to contribute and build systems to support a fast-growing, high-paced, and ever-changing start-up organization. As the Manager of External Relations, I oversaw the logistics and VIP management for the 2016 and 2017 African Leadership Network Gathering & Awards Gala. I developed systems and processes to allow a small team to handle an average of over 800 guests annually, from exchange students to Heads of State and high-profile investors.
